Yesterday, Bebe Stores announced the hire of Michelle Landgrebe as Executive Vice President, General Merchandising Manager of its 2b division. Ms. Landgrebe will oversee planning, design, merchandising, production, allocation, and visual merchandising. She will report directly to Steve Birkhold, CEO of the specialty retailer.
With over 20 years of top-level specialty wholesale experience, Ms. Landgrebe’s areas of expertise include merchandising and product development. She has overseen operations for well-known companies, including Polo Jeans, Tommy Hilfiger, Donna Karan, DKNY, and many more.
Previously serving as Vice President, General Merchandising Manager at VFSLA, of the VF Corporation, Ms. Landgrebe oversaw varying degrees of business. Her overall management resulted in higher sales and increased profitability.
Mr. Birkhold states, “Michelle’s skills and expertise in merchandising and product development are exceptional. She has a long track record of building businesses and driving results. Her talents and leadership abilities will help take the 2b brand to a whole new level.”
