MoSys, Inc. (MOSY) Develops a Greater North America Sales Channel with Macnica Americas

MoSys, a pioneer in semiconductor applications delivering fast, intelligent data access for network and communications systems, announced that a subsidiary of the Macnica Group, Macnica Americas, Inc., has been appointed as its new distributor to keep up with MoSys’ expanding need for sales and support of its Bandwidth Engine® ICs in North America. MoSys has seen an increasing demand for its Bandwidth Engine® ICs in correlation with the growing need for boosted data rates and network intelligence.

Macnina Americas’ has expertise in a variety of areas including all aspects of high-speed communications protocols and networking, video broadcast, signal processing, and storage applications. Within this broad range of capabilities, Macnina specializes in high-density, high-speed complex FPGA designs employing multiple IP cores. This specialization poses significant opportunity for synergy with MoSys’s Bandwidth Engine product line.
