GreeneStone Healthcare Corp. (GRST) Gives Update on Yorkville Clinic

GreeneStone Healthcare, operator of medical and healthcare clinics in Ontario, Canada, today updated on the progress of its Yorkville clinic, which is in its third month of operations, and said that the outpatient program is slated to open in August as planned.

Backed by a team comprised of addiction therapists, a stress-management therapist, a registered dietician, and a clinical psychologist, the company’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) takes a patient-centered holistic approach based on a rotation of therapy, group process, and psycho-educational workshops delivered twice weekly over a three month period.

The Yorkville clinic has also started a Youth Group led by Kate Ruby-Sachs, M.S.W., R.S.W, who has worked professionally as an addictions therapist with adults, adolescents and families. In addition, Kate assists in presenting one-day parent and family psycho-educational workshops that will cover a broad range of topics including enabling, dishonesty, boundaries and healthy communication.

GreeneStone President Shawn Leon commented on the company’s Muskoka in-patient facility, which he says continues to grow its rate of intakes to near full capacity.

“Muskoka is exceeding all expectations, and we are in a good position to use what we’ve created in Muskoka to support our work at the Yorkville clinic,” Leon stated in the press release.
