A smoking little silicon data pistol really and the thing can deliver to 16 nodes with better performance characteristics overall than anything out there.
VP of Marketing and Connectivity Products for ENTR, Al Servati, hailed the company’s MoCA 2.0 solution as being an extremely mature product which benefits greatly from the company’s first-to-market status (earned for constant innovation and ability to execute by delivering fully realized products to market). Servati underscored how this product is not only well timed, as Pay-TV operators migrate en masse to IP delivery in the home, but gets huge air off the springboard of ENTR’s market position, resulting in “significant market momentum and design-win traction” for this silicon marvel.
This production release of the full silicon/software solution should make some serious waves in the Pay-TV operator area, especially as more and more entities rush to implement next-gen media delivery architectures ahead of their competition.
