TeleCommunication Systems (“TCS”) announced recently it has received $7.7 million in additional funding to provide the U.S. Marine Corps with field support services for its communications infrastructure. Managing these procurements through the U.S. Army’s $5 billion World-Wide Satellite Systems (WWSS) contract vehicle is the Army project manager for the Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (PM WIN-T) Commercial Satellite Terminal Program (CSTP).
As a part of the TCS TotalCom portfolio, Integrated Global Support (IGS) field service personnel will provide technical assistance for communications from core technical control facilities and data/security centers to the network edge at remote operations. Also provided by IGS will be integrated logistics support, product lifestyle management, TotalCom field support, and training for a wide range of government customers.
