Jet Pay Corp. (JTPY) Subsidiary Announces Jeffrey S. Tourek as New Executive Vice President of Sales

JetPay® Payment Services, a division of JetPay, announced the appointment of Jeffrey S. Tourek to the roles of Executive Vice President and National Sales leader. Tourek was previously with Heartland Payment Systems where he was an Executive Director for Major Accounts. His addition is part of the company’s efforts to increase its national presence among all of its product lines. This ongoing effort has also included the additions of Ralph Bianco as General Manager for JetPay’s prepaid card programs, Wayne Hart as head of National Sales for JetPay Payroll Services, and the addition of a National Sales Manager for JetPay Card Services, which will be announced later this month.

JetPay Corporation is a nationally recognized payments processor for all major payment cards, with vertically integrated services for businesses that include payroll services, prepaid debit cards, related payroll tax filing, and human resource management. JetPay offers a unique blend of hi-tech transaction processing with customizable solutions for a wide range of business related needs. JetPay’s customers include businesses, banks, Independent Sales Organizations (“ISOs”), and Value-Added Resellers (“VARs”). JetPay Payment Services’ technology platform is able to seamlessly handle all types of payment transactions.

An experienced payment professional, Tourek marks the addition of another highly talented individual to JetPay. Since completing his education at the University of Minnesota he has held a number of sales positions, of which includes a stint with American Express and two different opportunities with First Data Corporation where he eventually became Vice President of National Sales. Tourek’s experience also includes directing business development and strategic relationships for Global Payments, Inc. and leading the Midwest commercial sales team for Bank of America where he expanded their product sales in payroll cards, ecommerce, and business-to-business sales. Prior to joining JetPay, he sat as Executive Director of Major Accounts for Heartland Payment Services. It was there that Tourek assisted in building their national sales with a focus on large merchants in the retail, travel and entertainment, ecommerce, supermarket, and petroleum vertical markets.

Bipin C. Shah, Chairman of JetPay Corporation and to whom Tourek will report to commented, stated “Jeff brings a strong skill set to our team, including his proven management style and his track record in motivating a sales team. I expect immediate, positive results from his arrival.”

Trent Voigt, CEO of JetPay Payment Services, added, “Jeff brings in-depth experience in building national sales teams and targeting business segments that can benefit from JetPay’s expertise in payments. With his broad-based knowledge of our industry, he will be a valuable asset to JetPay Corporation as a whole, particularly in cross-selling of prepaid cards and payroll processing services.”
