Doral Arrowwood Hotel Expands Energy Agreement with American DG Energy, Inc. (ADGE)

American DG Energy announced that the company has expanded upon an agreement with White Plains, NY-based Arrowwood Hotel and Conference Center to include cooling services. The cooling is in addition to 375 kW of heating and power.

Waltham, MA-based American DG is focused on bringing low-cost energy to its customers via distributed power generating systems. DG provides institutional, commercial, and small industrial facilities with power, cooling, heat, and hot water at typically lower costs than charged by local utilities. This is also without any initial start-up costs to the customer.

The current combined heating and power systems at Arrowwood have been in place since 2011, also supplied by American DG. The cooling system installed by DG will be the largest such system that the company has installed at any one location.

As with all other American DG systems, Arrowwood will only be paying for the energy generated by the combines systems, and will not be paying any equipment or installation costs. The energy provided will also be sold at a discount rate.
