Limelight Networks, Inc. (LLNW) Integrated into Peugeot Citroën Website Family

Limelight Networks announced that it had been selected by French automobile manufacturer PSA Peugeot Citroën to implement their Limelight Accelerate product within that company’s website network. The integration of Limelight Accelerate has enabled PSA to achieve significant cost efficiencies while providing a faster and more reliable experience for visitors to their websites.

Limelight is focused on bringing cloud-based Internet publishing solutions to their clients with applications that leverage Limelight’s scalable, high-performance, global computing platform. Limelight clients are able to upload, manage, publish, monetize, accelerate, and analyze their online and mobile content.

Limelight’s cloud computing platform allows PSA’s websites, which utilize multimedia content to allow users access to automobile configuration tools, to stream content from Limelight’s private fiber optic routes, rather than via public Internet. This allows for a faster user experience when using PSA’s configuration toolset, including the ability to choose car color, features, and accessories, which are graphically displayed.
