Autobytel, Inc. (ABTL) Achieves 1 Million Hits on Company YouTube Channel

Autobytel, a company focused on using the Web to connect automotive dealers and car-buyers, today announced it has reached viewership of more than 1 million views on its YouTube channel, which the company launched in mid-December 2011.

In the last three months alone, Autobytel said its YouTube channel has garnered more than 1.17 million video views, 1,579 subscribers, and 2,279 “likes.”

Autobytel president and CEO Jeffrey H. Coats says achieving this milestone is reflective of growing demand for the company’s strategy of offering consumers new car reviews, vehicle sneak peeks, and industry insights.

“As Your Lifetime Automotive Advisor, Autobytel’s goal is to offer the consumer the most comprehensive automotive information available,” Coats stated in the press release. “Our 1 million YouTube view milestone underscores our commitment to providing the consumer with the automotive content they want, the way they want it. Whether it is written reviews or video, we have a wide variety of exclusive automotive information developed specifically for consumers either in the market to purchase a car or if they are just browsing.”

In addition to new car reviews, the company’s YouTube channel also offers coverage of auto shows, overall industry reviews, concept car videos, test drives, road tests, track testing, and in-depth technical videos.

“We believe people like our hands-on, personable editorial approach,” Michelle Naranjo, editor-in-chief for Autobytel stated. “The Autobytel® video team has developed more than 200 videos, and will continue to test, drive, comment and share valuable automotive information with consumers.”
