X-Rite, the world leader in color management, measurement, and communication technologies, announced today its new i1Pro 2 spectrophotometer has been awarded the 2012 “Red Dot Award: Product Design.” The new i1Pro 2 spectrophotometer is featured in X-Rite’s latest portfolio of i1 Professional Color Management Solutions.
The new i1Pro 2 spectrophotometer was chosen for this award out of 4,515 product designs from around the globe by an international panel of 30 judges for its innovative design quality. The advanced i1Pro 2 will be displayed, along with other award winning products, at the Red Dot Design Museum in Germany from July 3 – 29, 2012.
X-Rite’s original i1Pro spectrophotometer has operated as the industry standard for over 10 years, and the i1Pro 2 has been enhanced and redesigned to deliver even greater accuracy, versatility, ergonomics, functionality, and value. X-Rite has implanted this award-winning technology into its cutting-edge, new i1Basic Pro 2, i1Photo Pro 2, i1Publish Pro 2, and i1Publish products. The i1Pro 2 second-generation spectrophotometer is the most accurate measurement device on the market today capable of performing three different measurement modes, the most commonly used M0 (Standard Illuminant A), the developing M1 (Illuminant D50), and M2 (known as UV-cut).
