Leading
presenter of museum-quality touring exhibitions, Premier Exhibitions announced
earlier today that it has partnered with New York based Crossmedia in order to
re-envision and re-launch the company’s overall exhibition marketing strategy.
“Throughout
the agency search process, Crossmedia consistently stood out amongst the field
of eight agencies we were considering,” commented senior vice president of
marketing for Premier Exhibitions, Marcy Davis. “Their plethora of lifestyle,
consumer brand clients and unique approach to marketing through consumer
engagement made me confident that Cross was a perfect fit for Premier.”
Premier
Exhibitions choose Crossmedia as the agency to oversee the transformation of
its marketing for its brands, based on their creative approach to developing
innovative and collaborative campaigns. The partnership, effective immediately,
plans to debut new creative and messaging in early 2014 in markets where the
company has self-run venues, some of which include Atlanta, Buena Park, Orlando
and Las Vegas.
“Many
of the exhibitions have been touring for a number of years and in some
instances, have been in their respective markets for five plus years,” said
Elizabeth Natwick, the new vice president of marketing that recently joined
Premier Exhibitions. “While the concept of the exhibit and the content is
evergreen and transcends generations, the way we interact with the public in
terms of messaging and marketing should be evaluated and updated, and we are
looking forward to doing just that with Crossmedia.” Natwick has 20+ years of
experience in entertainment marketing, and along with Davis, has been tasked
with leading the transition and revitalization in marketing for Premier
Exhibitions.
Premier
Exhibition’s expansive portfolio includes remarkable exhibitions that showcase
authentic artifacts and objects in interesting and diverse environments in
order to both inspire and educate audiences around the globe. Premier
Exhibitions have collectively been seen by over 55 million people around the
world listing their exhibits as among some of the most attended exhibitions on
the planet. Some notable exhibitions include: BODIES…The Exhibition, BODIES
REVEALED, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, Tutankhamun: The Golden King and
the Great Pharaohs, Cleopatra: The Search for the Last Queen of Egypt, and Real
Pirates in partnership with National Geographic and Pompeii: The Exhibition in
partnership with Italian Superintendence for Archeological Heritage of Naples
and Pompeii.
“Premier
Exhibitions has a tremendous portfolio of exhibits that all tell a story,”
stated co-founder and present of Crossmedia, Kamran Asghar. “Whether it’s the
story behind a survivor on Titanic or the awareness of the human body, there is
so much great content at our fingertips. We are very excited to bring these
stories to life across paid, owned and earned media.”
