Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. (MKZ) Ships M.O.U.S.9 Wireless Mouse for Computers, Smart Devices

Mad Catz Interactive recently announced the release of the company’s new M.O.U.S.9 wireless gaming mouse. The device utilizes Bluetooth Smart technology and is usable for gaming and productivity across several computer types and portable/smart/tablet devices.

Based in San Diego, Mad Catz is best known in the video game industry for producing gaming peripherals such as joypads and arcade sticks for the Wii, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 consoles, as well as instrument peripherals for various music games. Mad Catz also produces flight simulators under its ThunderHawk Studios brand, and pro gaming peripherals under the Cyborg brand.

The M.O.U.S.9, which is based on Mad Catz’s award winning R.A.T. gaming mouse, has been streamlined for a wider user base and general use. The mouse features Bluetooth Smart technology, which allows it to be used with a wide variety of computing and personal electronics equipment. PC and Mac computers, as well as smart TVs, smartphones, and tablets, are able to utilize M.O.U.S.9, and devices that do not contain Bluetooth Smart tech will be able to use the included USB dongle. The mouse also includes the ability to program commands intuitively with a drag-and-drop programming interface, as well as profiles that are compatible with application suites such as the Adobe Creative series and Microsoft Office.
