BGC Partners, Inc. (BGCP) Appoints Jean-Jack Badet as General Manager in Switzerland

Leading global brokerage company BGC Partners announced today that Jean-Jack Badet has been appointed as General Manager of its business in Switzerland. Based in Nyon, Mr. Badet will helm BGC’s Financial Products business; his presence will help the wholesale financial and real estate markets experts grow their presence throughout that country.

Mr. Badet joins BGC with over 30 years of industry experience. He had worked at Tradition since 1986, most recently as Managing Director of the firm’s Switzerland business. While there, he coordinated the development of money market products domestically and across Continental Europe. Mr. Badet will report to JP Aubin, Executive Managing Director and Global Head Listed Products & Structured Solutions and General Manager, Continental Europe.
