Cover-All Technologies, Inc. (COVR) Profiled in Celent Report

Cover-All Technologies was profiled recently in a report published by research and advisory firm Celent. The report, titled “Data Mastery Spectrum Overview 2012,” evaluated insurance data mastery systems from 27 companies. As stated in the report, data mastery “continues to be an area for strategic innovation as technology allows carriers to increase efficiencies, deliver a better customer experience and glean new insights through easier access to data.”

Cover-All is focused on providing an internet-enabled, browser-based family of products to P&C insurance professionals, which include policy, business intelligence, and claims solutions. Cover-All has offices located in Fairfield, New Jersey, Manhattan, and Honolulu.

The Celent report profiles companies that offer specific product categories: data mastery components, such as business intelligence (BI) presentation, analytics, data warehouse, ETL component solutions. The report also covers companies providing BI content, such as insurance data models, dashboards and report templates, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Cover-All’s profile in the report specifically states, “The BI presentation layer provides pre-built interactive charts and reports covering subject areas such as underwriting, claims, customer relationship, and financials; functional and data entitlement based dashboards for assembling charts and reports; highly configurable definition of dashboards, KPIs, and reports; several built-in point-in-time comparisons for any measure; access control through functional and data-level security; embedded Cognos technology for data visualization, reporting and enhanced analysis without the need for separate Cognos licensing and quick implementation times.”

Benjamin Moreland, senior analyst for Celent and author of the report, said, “Successful data mastery efforts are able to realize business value quickly. Due to competitive forces, insurers must be able to see and act on business insight in a few months and not years. Insurers need to be able to leverage both internal and external data, as well as grow their use and maturity of big data quickly in an agile manner.”

Manish Shah, president of Cover-All Technologies, added, “Cover-All BI is an important part of the Cover-All family of products. Now equipped with an iPad app for information on the go, Cover-All BI provides key business insights for our customers through an easy-to-use interface. Our BI solution is pre-integrated with Cover-All Policy, and can also be used as a functionally robust and configurable stand-alone solution with P&C carriers’ current systems. Inclusion in this report is especially significant for us since we took the time to pre-build P&C-specific measures, dimensions, KPIs and reports which all come out of the box with Cover-All BI, helping our customers gain immediate business value.”
