Chanticleer Holdings, Inc. (HOTR) on Track to Achieve Bold Objective for 2013

Chanticleer Holdings is a business operator focused on introducing and expanding the Hooters® casual dining restaurant brand to international markets.

Since the opening of its Durban, South Africa, Hooters restaurant in December 2009, the company has grown its portfolio to a total of six restaurant locations scattered across South Africa (four restaurants), Australia (one restaurant), and Hungary (one restaurant).

At the beginning of this year, Chanticleer voiced its goal of having 10 Hooters restaurants in its portfolio by year end, and with the opportunities it has on deck, the company looks to be on track to hit the mark.

The company earlier this month said it will add its seventh location to the books with the acquisition of an existing Hooters location in Nottingham, England, in a deal expected to close no later than October 31, 2013.

Chanticleer is closing in on an additional Australian restaurant, this one in Townsville, and recently announced the signing of a lease agreement for another South Africa location in Pretoria. For its tenth target, Chanticleer is planning for a restaurant in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Thus far, 2013 has been a strong and successful year for the company, which has seen its stock grow from $1.64 at the end of February to its current trade of $4.79.

Aside from its aggressive growth strategy centered on the Hooters® brand, Chanticleer on October 1 announced the completion of its acquisition of American Roadside Burgers, adding to its strong market rally. American Roadside Burgers has a total of five locations scattered in New York, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
