ForceField Energy, Inc. (FRNG) Announces Turnkey LED Lighting Retrofit Program at 2014 Association of Kentucky Fried Chicken Franchisees Convention

Today, ForceField Energy announced the launch of a turnkey LED lighting retrofit program for franchisees at the 2014 Association of Kentucky Fried Chicken Franchisees Convention. The convention is taking place in Orlando, Florida from today, February 14, to Monday, February 17, 2014. ForceField Energy will be in booth #415 at the conference.

The retrofit program will be extended to all franchisees under Yum! Brands, Inc., which include Kentucky Fried Chicken, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut, located within the United States, the Caribbean, and Latin America. Its launch builds on the previous success of ForceField Energy’s first LED lighting retrofit program at a Latin America-based KFC location. That restaurant location is owned by QSR International, a master brand franchisor with 145 restaurants located in 15 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

“As the only participant focused on LED lighting solutions, the conference provides a great opportunity to demonstrate the strength of our products and solutions to some of the most successful franchisees in the quick service restaurant industry,” stated Richard St Julien, ForceField Energy’s President of the company’s LED Division. “By offering a turnkey program, we provide franchisees a straightforward and simple process to retrofit to LED lighting at existing locations and install new LED products at restaurants at no upfront cost. It will become clear to all franchisees and operators that they can quickly benefit from the cost savings, thus strengthening their bottom-line and the value of their restaurant while improving the customer experience resulting from ForceField’s LED lighting programs.

ForceField Energy has also obtained approval as a registered vendor by the Caribla Franchise Association. This organization has 36 KFC, eight Pizza Hut, and three Taco Bell member markets that own and operate more than 800 restaurants throughout the Caribbean region. The company will also be seeing an increase in its market visibility to thousands of potential franchisees: its retrofit program will be featured in the USA Franchisee annual book.
