Charging Group, Inc. (CCGI) Joins Forces with LAZ Parking and Offers Electric Vehicle Charging Services at Eventi in New York City

Leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging services Car Charging Group announced that through its partnership with LAZ Parking (“LAZ”), one of the largest parking operators in the U.S., residents, guests, and visitors of Eventi, a Kimpton Hotel, will now be able to charge their electric cars. Eventi is located in New York City at 851 Avenue. The EV charging services are located in the 29th Street parking garage, which is managed by LAZ.

A boutique Manhattan hotel, Eventi is an ideal home away from home while exploring New York City. Eventi is located in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood and is only a few blocks from Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, the Empire State Building, as well as Macy’s flagship store. In addition, just a short ways away from the hotel are world-renowned art galleries, great restaurants, and performance venues. From its famous art galleries to the infamous Chelsea Hotel, from the Chelsea Piers to the Penn Station, the neighborhood offers an amazing variety of wonderful shopping, dining, and opportunities for entertainment.

“As the largest private owner and operator of EV charging service, CarCharging has exceptional relationships with the largest parking operators,” stated Vice President of Sales at CarCharging, Brian Golomb. “We are proud to work with LAZ Parking and offer EV charging services to the residents and guests of Eventi.”

“Through many years of servicing the hospitality industry, we have perfected high-end parking services,” commented Cristian De Leon, Director of Operations, NY Metro, LAZ Parking. “Partnering with CarCharging and offering its charging services for electric cars at Eventi, provides hotel guests with the opportunity to park and charge their EV, while potentially adding revenues for our clients.”

The EV charging services at Eventi will utilize a Level II EV charging station, which will provide 240 volts with 32 amps of power in order to efficiently recharge an electric vehicle’s battery. EV drivers everywhere can easily request CarCharging’s evCharge card online, and attach the small card to their keychain in order for use and payment at these locations. In addition, CarCharging’s evCharge card allows drivers to use charging locations on the ChargePoint® Network. CarCharging’s EV charging stations accept direct payment through the use of a credit card.
