FAB Universal (FU) and China Xiangyu Cultural Development Co. Sign Five-Year Marketing Agreement

FAB Universal announced today that it has entered into a five-year agreement with China Xiangyu Cultural Development Co., Ltd., where China Xiangyu will provide advertising on the top screen of FAB’s Intelligent Media Kiosk Network.

FAB Media Kiosks run video ads on their high-tech LCD screens and are capable of accepting payments for utility bills, metro cards, credit card bills, and other services. Consumers can also purchase and download copyrighted music, video games, and movies directly to their cell phones or other mobile devices.

Revenue from this non-exclusive agreement is expected to be at least $2.5 million annually. FAB currently generates revenue from its Intelligent Media Kiosk Business through the sale of licenses, media content downloads, media membership cards, and kiosk-based advertising.

“This agreement will significantly increase our 5C Kiosk advertising revenue, contributing to the revenue generated from our rapidly growing 5C Intelligent Media Kiosk Network,” remarked FAB’s CEO, Chris Spencer. “In addition to expanding our kiosk network, driving advertising revenue is an important component of our growth strategy. As we continue to expand our network, the opportunity to advertise on our kiosks will become more attractive.”

China Xiangyu’s services fit perfectly within the sphere of what FAB’s kiosk network offers. As a marketing and entertainment company focused on organizing cultural performances, it provides advertising services and operational and marketing activities for online games, animation and 3G.
