Angeion Corp. (ANGN) Awarded National Group Purchasing Contract with HealthTrust

Angeion Corp. announced it signed an agreement with HealthTrust Purchasing Group, L.P., to provide HealthTrust’s members with Angeion’s full line of MedGraphics cardiorespiratory diagnostic systems and related services and supplies. HealthTrust members will have access to special pricing and terms for MedGraphics systems, which diagnose heart and lung disorders in their earliest stages and also monitor therapy for conditions like heart failure, asthma and other forms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

HealthTrust members that will benefit from the agreement will include acute care facilities, ambulatory surgery centers, alternate care sites, and physician practices, and these entities will have easier access to Angeion’s technologies and services. The end result will be improved care management and outcomes for patients.
