Mineral exploration company Quantum Cobalt Corp. (CSE: QBOT) (FRA: 23B) (OTC: BRVVF) this morning announced that it has planned a drilling program (subject to permitting) to determine the size of a dump pile of material that was excavated during historic underground development work at the Nipissing Lorrain Mine cobalt-silver-nickel property, which is located 26 kilometers southeast of Cobalt, Ontario, the epicenter of past cobalt mining in Ontario. Per the update, the company intends to use information gathered from this program to prepare a mineral resource estimate and file a technical report on SEDAR. Quantum intends to begin permitting efforts immediately before returning to the Nipissing Lorrain property “as soon as weather conditions and permitting allow” in order to complete the systemic definition of the historic waste pile.
