MissionIRNewsBreaks – Pressure BioSciences Inc. (PBIO) Enters Agreement to Create Unique Analytical System Using Patented Pressure Cycling Technology

Pressure BioSciences (OTCQB: PBIO) recently entered a global co-marketing and distribution agreement with ISS, Inc. to create an advanced high pressure optical spectroscopy system utilizing PBIO’s patented pressure cycling technology (“PCT”). An article further discussing the agreement reads: “A leading developer and provider of innovative high pressure-based solutions to the global life sciences industry, Pressure BioSciences, Inc. (OTCQB: PBIO) has entered a two-year agreement with ISS, Inc., a prominent designer and manufacturer of advanced scientific instruments with more than 30 years of experience in the field. Under the agreement, the two companies will join their marketing and distribution efforts worldwide, as well as their own technologies to create an advanced high pressure optical spectroscopy system that’s expected to generate significant data that could be critical to the discovery and development of new biopharmaceutical diagnostics and drugs, according to a Pressure BioSciences press release issued on February 14, 2018 (http://ibn.fm/qMEmi).

About Pressure BioSciences Inc.
Pressure BioSciences Inc. (“PBI”) (OTCQB: PBIO) develops, markets, and sells proprietary laboratory instrumentation and associated consumables to the estimated $6 billion life sciences sample preparation market. The company’s products are based on the unique properties of both constant (i.e., static) and alternating (i.e., pressure cycling technology, or “PCT”) hydrostatic pressure. PCT is a patented enabling technology platform that uses alternating cycles of hydrostatic pressure between ambient and ultra-high levels to safely and reproducibly control bio-molecular interactions. PBI’s primary focus is in the development of PCT-based products for biomarker and target discovery, drug development and design, bio-therapeutics characterization, soil & plant biology, forensics, and counter-bioterror applications. Major new focal market opportunities are emerging in the use of PBI’s patented, scalable, high-efficiency Ultra Shear Technology (“UST”) to create stable nanoemulsions of otherwise immiscible fluids (such as oils and water), and to prepare higher quality, homogenized, extended shelf-life or room temperature stable, low-acid liquid foods that cannot be effectively preserved using existing non-thermal technologies.
