Net Element, Inc. (NETE) Gains National Exposure through Work at the 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship

Through its subsidiary, Unified Payments, Net Element, Inc. (NASDAQ: NETE) recently provided technical setup, support and credit card processing for the sale of merchandise at the 2015 College Football National Championship in Dallas, Texas. In addition to thousands of football fans, the event drew record-setting coverage from the national media.

“We are delighted with the successful project for College Football Playoff National Championship,” stated Oleg Firer, CEO of Net Element.

The company installed a specialized payment processing system using its proprietary mobile Point-of-Sale systems with seamless integration between five separate locations. In just three days, Net Element was able to successfully link 24 registers, complete with iPad based terminals, Bluetooth scanners and receipt printers capable of enabling enhanced inventory control and replenishment, fast checkout, excellent customer service and the ability to accept the tremendously popular Apple Pay mobile payment solution.

In addition to being a major project in its own right, the company’s work in Dallas serves as a tremendous proof of concept for bids on similar events in the future. “Event processing is a new niche for us and we are very excited with this new business line and the opportunities it creates for us,” Firer continued.

Entering the live event market provides Net Element with access to nearly limitless growth potential in the coming years. According to IBISWorld, the concert and event promotion industry alone, which excludes franchise sporting events, is a $25 billion market, with growth of nearly five percent annually. When combined with the four major professional sports leagues in the United States, which had combined attendance totals topping 134 million last year, it’s easy to see the intrigue in the live event market.

With significant growth possibilities in a variety of industries, Net Element’s future should have investors excited for the upcoming months. As steady increases in the prominence of mobile payment methods and, as a result, the necessity for seamlessly integrated Point-of-Sale solutions, continue, the company is in a strong position to establish itself as a leader in the evolving payments market.
